IGCDA
Trust Leadership
IGCDA TRUST was officially registered in the year 2017 in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, India, with an initial Board of Trustees comprising 8 members.
Over time, the Trust experienced the unfortunate loss of two esteemed leaders —
Dr. Siddharth N. Shah (Mumbai) and YP. Munjal (New Delhi) — bringing the number of trustees down to 6. To maintain the strength of the board, two new trustees were appointed, restoring the count to 8.
In February 2025, three additional trustees were inducted. Subsequently, one trustee from Mumbai resigned, making the current strength of the Board of Trustees 10 members as of today.
Roles and Structure
Board of Trustees (B.O.T)
Trustees 10-Members – Board of Trustees (B.O.T). If one is vacant, Trustees will select for next. Committed Health Professionals in the field of Cardiology & Diabetology are chosen by the Founder and Board of Trustees.
Life long; Any discomfort they can leave. Participate in Trustees meeting every year & suggest for further growth of GDM. Contribute Academically for Journal, conference and Book etc. Conduct Training program in CDM & participate in the Fellowship program. Support the Founder.
Founder is the Managing Trustee / Chief Patron / Founder Chairman – life long. After him, the B.O.T will elect a chairman amidst them & the duration is 3 years.
